ww1 watchA few months ago C. Forbes, Inc. was approached with a beautiful timepiece crafted in such thoughtful detail, we had to get a closer look. Upon further inspection, it became abundantly clear that the piece belonged in the WW1 Centennial Store. The Swiss-made watch is designed and provided by Col & MacArthur of Brussels. It is called “Armistice 1918.” There are only 1918 of these numbered watches to be made and then they will be gone. Rumour has it that French President Emmanuel Macron already owns one of the first. It is certainly a piece worthy of heads of state.

With Veteran’s Day 2018 fast approaching in the US (Nov. 11), this year we join in commemorating the WW1 Armistice of 1918 – The end of the Great War. We invite you to learn more about this timepiece and consider acquiring one or more as a gift or for your own collection.  Purchase includes a 60 character inscription on the back. This is an officially licensed product and a portion of your purchase will go to benefit the mission of the WW1 Centennial Commission’s cause of building a WW1 Memorial at Pershing Park in Washington, DC, as well as their other WW1 legacy and educational initiatives.

Shipping on the next batch begins Dec. 1, just in time for your Holiday gift giving.
